Zombot Ghoul Sculpture

Here are some more photos taken of my Zombot Ghoul sculpture a few days before it's completion on February 15th. At 22 inches, this has ended up being one of the largest figures that I have ever sculpted, and I have to say I really did find the scale quite enjoyable to work in. I am looking forward to doing some more larger sized pieces this year.
I delivered the finished sculpt to my mold maker (Matt Hawkins at Character Dynamics) today and should start getting finished casted parts in about a week. I am still putting the finishing touches on the base and one small additional accessory. The kit will come in approximately 10 parts which will include the Zombot's rifle, base and a few wires and hoses to connect and customize his various mechanical additions. I will be retailing the sculpture for $200.00 and will begin taking orders emediately.
Thanks to longtime friend James Elliott for helping out by supplying and fabricating various parts for the awesome rifle, which is made from a variety of metal, renshape and styrene parts.

Jim, put me done for one zombot! Please contact me when you need the $$, I have to have one of those. Maybe we'll see more "Monster Hunter" kits soon? Glad to see you some original work again the hobby needs more of it.

Jim, Sorry to "geek" out, but I would love to see a WOTCF figure kit line. How cool would that be! Can't wait for the Zombot I already have some ideas cooking for the paint up.
Keep sculpting man.

In the next couple days I will be setting up a link to order the Zombot Ghoul at the Groman Store blog linked to this one.I believe I should start getting kits by the end of this week!!
Hey Marc Tassone! Good to hear from you. Yes a WOTCF kit would be cool... I'll see if I can fit it in my schedule. Got a couple more 'big' kits planned in the near future...

Jim, would be interested in sculpting a 1/6th scale head ? If so let me know what you need , the head would be a replacement for my Hideious Sun Demon kit; I'd like something closer to McVeys without it being a deliberate copy of the design.

Jim. Jim, Jim, Jim, Jim....
I have come to terms with the realization that I don't think you're actually human. I mean,...that is one sick (sick in a good way) sculpture! GAH!!! You're an insane being sir, human or otherwise! I have no words...other than just know I am insanely jealous of the talent shown here. :-D Please do more sculptures sir! Don't make me beg (it's not pretty!) And, on a side note....I can't BELIEVE how big your little granddaughter is! Have I really been gone that long?!
Miss being around your talented self! Such an inspiration! Keep up the most excellent work!
